Cavity Wall Insulation
Insulating the cavity in your home is absolutely essential if you want to save heat, reduce those ever increasing heating bills and help the environment.
Benefits of cavity wall insulation
It is estimated that Cavity wall insulation prevents one third of your heat escaping through the walls of your property and could save you up to *£310 per year on your fuel bills (*source Energy Saving Trust, detached house, Nov 2021). The installation process is very simple, hassle free and is normally completed in 2 to 3 hours. Typically the installation cost for a semi-detached house will be in the region of £800 to £1500 . However, this cost could be much cheaper or even FREE** for a standard size home with an Energy Company Obligation (ECO) grant. We also offer further cavity wall insulation discounts for homeowners and tenants living in Ashford, Folkestone, Dover, Canterbury, Margate, Maidstone and other towns in Kent.
Installation
Holes are drilled in the external walls of the property and the insulation is gently eased into the cavity between the outer and inner walls using a specially designed machine. The holes are then re-filled using material that best suits the original finish. We use White Wool Cavity Wall Insulation supplied by Instagroup and our installation teams are assessed, certified and checked by the Instagroup technical team at least every three months.

Home insulation grants
Grants schemes under the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) were initiated by the UK Government to encourage property owners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. The funding for these schemes is administered by the UK power companies such as British Gas, Scottish Power, E.on, npower, EDF energy and Scottish & Southern.
